KTON Yield Report: What Staked Gram Actually Earned
KTON pays staking rewards by raising the exchange rate between KTON and Gram. This page reads that rate from the KTON pool contract when it opens and shows how fast it has actually grown, next to the estimate for the current round. Past growth is a record, not a promise.

How to read the numbers
Estimated yearly rate comes from the loan in the current round: the interest validators owe on it, compounded over a year, minus the protocol fee. It is what the pool would earn if every round looked like this one.
Realized figures compare today’s exchange rate with the rate at the start of each window and turn the growth into a yearly rate. They are what holders actually received, already after the 16% protocol fee and the small fixed cost of each round.
Why the 365-day figure is lower
Governance raised the interest rate that validators pay on each KTON loan on 6 and 10 April 2026. A window that includes months before that change shows slower growth than the most recent 30 and 90 days. The interest rate is set by the protocol’s 3-of-4 multisig and can change again, so recent growth does not guarantee future growth.
How the realized rate is calculated
- Today. The page reads
total_balanceandsupplyfrom the pool contract; their ratio is the Gram one KTON is worth. - The start of the window. It finds the first TON masterchain block after that time and reads the same two values as they were in that block, through the toncenter archive.
- Yearly rate. (rate today ÷ rate then) raised to the power of one year divided by the elapsed time, minus one.
The calculation runs in your browser each time the page opens; nothing is stored in the page. The same method is open in kton-apy.js.
Frequently asked questions
Is the realized yield a guarantee of future returns?
No. It is a record of how much the KTON exchange rate grew in the past. Future growth depends on the interest rate set by governance, on validator performance and on how much of the pool is lent out.
Is the realized yield before or after fees?
After. The exchange rate grows only by what remains after the 16% protocol fee on rewards and the fixed cost of each round, so the realized figures are what holders received.
Why does the estimate differ from the realized rate?
The estimate projects the current round over a year. The realized rate measures what actually happened over a whole window, including any changes to the interest rate during it.
Where does the data come from?
From the KTON pool contract on the TON blockchain. The current round estimate is read through tonapi.io and the exchange rate at past blocks through the toncenter archive. No figure is stored in the page.
