TON Staking Calculator
Estimate what staked Gram could earn with KTON. The rate is read from the KTON pool contract when you open this page, and it is already net of the protocol fee. It is an estimate, not a promise.
- Estimated rewards
- Estimated balance at the end
- Current net APY
- APY before the fee
- Protocol fee on rewards
How the estimate is calculated
- Read the contract. When the page opens it reads the KTON pool on the TON blockchain through tonapi.io: the pool balance, the amount lent to validators in the round, and the amount the pool expects back.
- Round return. The difference between the expected and the lent amount, divided by the pool balance, is the return of one round.
- Yearly rate. A validation round lasts about 36 hours, which makes roughly 241 rounds a year. The round return is compounded into a yearly rate.
- Fee. The governance fee, also read from the contract, is taken off the result. At the time of writing it is 16% of rewards.
- Your amount and period. The estimated balance is your amount multiplied by (1 + net APY) raised to the period in years.
For where rewards come from and why the rate moves, read TON staking APY explained.
What the estimate leaves out
- Rate changes. The calculator applies today’s rate to the whole period. In practice it changes every round.
- Network gas. The minimum stake is 1 Gram. Your wallet attaches about 1.15 Gram of gas to the transaction and the unused portion is refunded.
- The price of Gram. The result is shown in Gram only. Its value in other currencies depends on the market.
- The exit wait. Unstaking is not instant: Gram is returned after the current validation round finalizes, up to about 36 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Is the APY in this calculator guaranteed?
No. The calculator shows an estimate based on recent validation rounds. The rate changes every round, so the actual result can be higher or lower.
Where does the rate come from?
The page reads the KTON pool contract on the TON blockchain through tonapi.io when it opens. No rate is stored in the page: the number is recalculated every time.
Does the estimate include the KTON fee?
Yes. The net APY already has the governance fee that the protocol takes on staking rewards removed. The fee is a commission on the yield, not on your principal. TON network gas is not included in the estimate.
Why does the number change when I reload the page?
Because the rate is recalculated from the latest round data in the contract. When a new round starts, the data changes and so does the estimate.
