What Are the Fees for Staking Gram on TON?
KTON takes a 16% governance fee on staking rewards. It is a commission on the yield, not on your principal, and the APY shown in the app is already net of it. There is no separate deposit or withdrawal fee beyond TON network gas.
The governance fee
When the pool earns staking rewards, 16% of those rewards goes to the protocol Treasury and the rest accrues to KTON holders. As an illustration of the split: if your stake earns 10 Gram of rewards before the fee, 1.6 Gram is the fee and 8.4 Gram accrues to you. Your principal is not charged.
The fee is a value stored in the pool contract, so anyone can read it on-chain. The staking calculator shows the current value next to the live rate.
Deposits and withdrawals
KTON does not charge a separate fee to stake or to unstake. You only pay TON network gas.
Network gas
Your wallet attaches about 1.15 Gram of gas to the staking transaction and the unused portion is refunded. This is paid to the network, not to KTON.
Reading the APY
The APY in the app is shown after the governance fee, so you do not need to subtract anything from it. It is a live estimate from recent rounds, not a promise. TON staking APY explained covers how to read it.
