How to Stake TON in Tonkeeper (Now Keeper)
Tonkeeper has been renamed Keeper; it is the same wallet. There are two ways to stake TON, whose asset is now called Gram, from it: the wallet’s built-in Stake button, or a liquid staking protocol such as KTON that you connect to with TON Connect.
Tonkeeper is now Keeper
The wallet’s own site says “Tonkeeper is now Keeper”, and tonkeeper.com now opens keeperwallet.com. The official TON Connect wallet list shows it as Keeper too. Your wallet, seed phrase and balances are the same; only the name changed. The asset you stake is Gram (formerly Toncoin), on the TON network.
Option 1: Keeper’s built-in Stake button
According to Keeper’s help center (read in October 2026), the Stake button in Keeper offers liquid staking through Tonstakers. In Keeper’s own words and figures:
- You stake Gram in the Tonstakers pool and receive a token called tsTON.
- The minimum is 1 Gram, and Keeper recommends keeping at least 1.1 Gram for network fees.
- Unstaking is processed after the current validation cycle ends, which Keeper gives as about 18 hours in Tonstakers.
These are Keeper’s and Tonstakers’ terms; check them in the app before you stake. For how Tonstakers and KTON differ, read KTON vs Tonstakers.
Option 2: Stake with KTON from Keeper
KTON is a liquid staking protocol on TON that works with any wallet that supports TON Connect, including Keeper.
- Open KTON. Go to app.kton.io, or open the KTON Mini App in Telegram (@ktonio_bot).
- Connect Keeper. Choose Connect wallet, pick Keeper from the TON Connect list and approve the connection in Keeper.
- Enter an amount of at least 1 Gram. Keep about 2.15 Gram in the wallet: Keeper attaches about 1.15 Gram of network gas, and the unused portion is refunded.
- Confirm in Keeper. The protocol mints KTON to your wallet. KTON is a standard TON jetton, so it sits in Keeper like any other token.
KTON takes a 16% governance fee on staking rewards, not on your principal, and the APY shown in the app is already net of it. To get Gram back, unstake through the protocol; it arrives after the current validation round finalizes, up to about 36 hours.
